Project Complete: Future-Proof Workshop Installation at Local Sawmill

TJH Electrical has successfully completed the electrical design and installation for a new workshop building at a local sawmill. The project offered full creative control, allowing Tom to manage every aspect of the process, from initial design to the final installation.

The client’s primary request was to future-proof the workshop, encouraging the installation to be robust enough to handle potential expansion in the coming years. To meet this need, TJH Electrical installed oversized galvanised trunking and a large supply cable to ensure that any future additions could be easily integrated into the system. A high number of sockets were also installed throughout the workshop to meet both current demands and anticipated future needs.

Additionally, an outdoor lighting system was fitted, controlled by a photocell and timeclock. This automated solution ensures the lights operate only when necessary, turning on at dusk and off according to the pre-set schedule, providing energy efficiency and convenience without requiring manual control.
